I've created Zen & Grey to be a space where you can access a variety of offerings and resources to grow both personally and professionally. So often people new to personal and professional development have the drive and desire to accomplish specific goals but struggle with the setup and execution.
That's where I come in! Whether you're an aspiring high performer or a new or aspiring solopreneur, you will need a foundation on which to build your goals. I help you with the starting out steps so that you can focus on what matters.
I remember being a beginner myself and flailing for years before figuring out a process that anyone can use for creating personal and business goals.
A process that helps you overcome the 5 primary obstacles that tend to stop your progress:
✦ Time ✦ Energy ✦ Know-how ✦ Overwhelm ✦ Fear
CLARITY: Identify your mission, your brand and your personal and business values, and how they are working/not working with your goals. Understand how the way you are showing up in the main areas of your life and career is hindering you and how you can transform your thoughts, behavior and energy to get what you want
COMPETENCE: Get the structure and systems for your self-development and solopreneur startup steps. Once you understand your energetic profile, it changes the game for you in terms of time management, productivity, and results.
CONFIDENCE: Produce lasting results. Get accountability. Measure your progress. Stay committed to finish what you start.
My mission is to live my life for the betterment of others. For as long as I can remember, I've immersed myself in personal and professional growth. I was never one of the "cool kids" who thrived on a sports team or rocked the latest trends. I was the girl who usually got picked last in gym, participated in mock trial tournaments, performed in Shakespeare competitions and attended nerdy leadership camps during summer breaks. I was always fascinated by leadership, communication, confidence, productivity and creativity. Today, I can share all of that without feeling embarrassed. Because I can look back and see that there has always been a unifying thread of growth, curiosity and knowledge connecting all of my seemingly unconnected interests.
Acting and theatre from a young age forced me to be fully expressed and seen by others (a nightmare for introverts like me!). It taught me how to fail in front of a crowd of strangers when I forgot lines but to keep going.
Studying the post-war peace and conflict resolution process in the Balkans humbled me and introduced me to the art of communication in deescalating conflict and healing trauma.
My first job as a program director for a leadership conference for thousands of high school students trained me in curating and executing impactful educational events and in community building
Then came years of practice as a trial lawyer, where I immersed myself in the art of asking questions, negotiation and communication. I taught trial advocacy and public speaking to law students. And copyright and brand protection to entrepreneurs.
